eco. modern essentials
I've never really gotten into essential oils before because I always associated oils with multi-level marketing companies. I have nothing against MLM's, but constantly getting messages from people I don't know about an 'exciting opportunity' just isn't my jam. So when I heard from ECO. Modern Essentials it was refreshing to hear from a locally based brand that weren't trying to recruit. I had actually been using their Rosehip & Vitamin C Serum's for awhile because I love the feeling of it on my face and they're really affordable. What I really appreciate about ECO. is that they are quite transparent. It's easy to find information on everything from how they source ingredients to what they're doing to reduce their carbon footprint, like transitioning to all glass bottles and offering free recycling for remaining plastic parts.

ECO. have a subscription box which goes out every 3 months with a different theme, and they sent me their Toxic Free Home ritual box to try. It came with 9 essential oils, Castile oil, serum, Boomerang bag (for fruit & veg), empty bottle (for DIY recipes), aromatherapy handbook, and a recipe card. The recipes are easy to follow and they are so many available on their website. Each day I put a different oil in my diffuser at my desk while I work too. Check out my interview with ECO. to learn more about this wellness brand.

what inspired eco. modern essentials?
The ECO. story began on the beautiful Gold Coast, passionate about healthy, natural and active living, founder Claire Mitchell a vision to create the ECO. brand. what are the benefits of aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the use of aromatic plants in the form of essential oils and waters to help support and enhance health both physically and emotionally. Essential oils are extracted from plants and are a very concentrated form of the healing aromatic compounds either from the plant or produced during the extraction process.
Essential oils can be absorbed into the body through the skin and nose. When essential oils are absorbed through the skin they enter into the blood stream that carries the healing molecules throughout the body. Heat, water and covering the treated area increase the level of absorption so application methods like baths and compresses are a great way to increase essential oil absorption into the body.
